Lighthearted stories on quirky people interacting in a somewhat nonsensical way. And somehow in the midst of all the mess, good music was formed, or so we would like to think. Heeheehee..... Bwahahahaha....Hoo hoo hoo...

In the mood for Kahlua Mudpie

Some cravings of the Author...

Sleep...finally...in a short while, I will finally get some decent sleep, in my own room, on my beloved bed, surrounded by a whiff of pleasant fragrance, with the soft breeze from the window brushing across me. Ah.... sweet bliss... and tomorrow there will just be morning sunrays and me, no sudden jerk on my bed and no shaking me awake and ludicrous series of questions to disturb my slumber.

How nice it would be to celebrate with a serving of Kahlua Mudpie... to help ease the tension building from the past week. The combination of the cool sweetness with a slight hint of bittersweet liquor... *droolz* Ahh... such a tempting image... But I shouldn't... Pants are still tight...heehee. But it will be nice, to accompany some reminiscing...

Aww... it's past midnight, a friend's birthday just passed. A friend who used to be quite a prominent part of my everyday life. Now there isn't just enough incentive to make the effort to go over to celebrate. So many things have changed since the good old days. A birthday used to be important, having crushes used to be exciting, and some movies can be extremely memorable. But all those seem to be so trivial these days, part of growing older I guess.

Listening to the song Jera by Agnes Monica. So tragic and depressing... *switch to Rocker Juga Manusia* Ahh... much better *rockz* Hoping to sleep after this, but laundry's still not done yet.

*1 hour later*

Hmm... I'm still up for whatever stupid reasons... like phone calls, msn, and drying the laundry...

Sleep... need to sleep... feeling so deprived again...

Magnetized pepper... Is there such thing?

Episode 2

Rising anticipation... Curtains Open... Harmonious Blend... Uproar... Endless Applause... Hysterical Screams...

It was a beautiful Sunday when the good people of Lada decided they need to be recharged. So they went to get themselves Magnetized. The place was called Victoria Theatre... and they were in for some surprise indeed...

The charging process began when the Magnets revealed themselves. The moment the curtains opened, Lada was enthralled. Six ethereal beings appeared on the stage, each with his own charm and irresistible aura (no wonder they were called the magnets). Within minutes each Lada personnel had decided which Magnet they wanted to bring home.

Anton the Eccentric was stuck to the dark force of ColinMagnet. Imme the Microscopic found herself drawn to NicMagnet with his Brad-Pittlike charms. Like the Ingenious was drooling over AndyMagnet the beatbox. Aris the Cow Maniac was away with his cows so Felie the Undiscovered Species had to take up two opposing magnets, SteveMagnet and MichalMagnet. And Sigit the Goofey was left with JamesMagnet, actually he had no choice since he came late...

Suddenly ... the orderly charging process was disrupted when Imme the Microscopic turned fickle and wanted AndyMagnet for herself also. The Microscopic and the Ingenious was then involved in the war of the century. The loser had to choose between jumping out of the window, or finishing a large McDonalds fries. The fight was eventually over... and the Ingenious won 1-0 because she took a picture with the beatbox... and the Microscopic lost one night's worth of sleep that day.

The charging process was eventually over, leaving everyone inspired and Magnetized. Felie the Undiscovered Species started to wonder whether she has the same origin as the Magnets since she felt so comfortable with them, in particular, the SteveMagnet. Should she return to where she belong then? Alas... just when she felt she could make a decision, the Magnets had been transported to another part of the chaotic galaxy.

So along an empty street Felie walked alone... *background song - Almost Over You* hands in her pocket, towards an orange sunset on the clear sky.

(At this point, the author ponders whether she should migrate to the land of tall handsome ang-mohs with great voices and hot butt-shakin....)

till next time...

Pepper, anyone?

Welcome to all of you.

Teatime Stories has been constructed to provide some entertainment for you people, whether you are stuck in the midst of piles of work or simply struggling with the deadly boredom of everyday life. The stories here are neither too sophisticated such that you have to look up your dictionary every few paragraphs, nor too silly and nonsensical *scatterbrain alert* (unless the author has less than 6 hours of sleep, in which case you readers are expected to be understanding and sympathetic)

So for those productive people out there who have tons of work yet still manage to squeeze some time to read some blogs, here are some amusing stories about people, and their silly behaviours. As the stories are created for your pleasure, do feel free to contribute and comment. Contributions in the forms of ideas, or cash, chocolates, or some exotic treats are always appreciated by the poor helpless author.

So shall we? Let's start then... The very first episode of Teatime Stories! *Wild applause*

Once upon a time, in a faraway land where they are unable to distinguish between a mermaid and lion, there live six fascinating creatures who by some unexpected twist of fate, end up living together in harmony. (or at least the author would like to believe so) They call themselves "LADA" which means 'pepper' in some foreign language from another galaxy.

The characters in Lada are as distinct as night and day. They have people who are constantly challenged, both vertically and horizontally. They have people who are shy and reserved, and they have those shameless to boot. As the name suggests, they are quirky, spicy, and too much exposure to these creatures can bring tears to your eyes. (most of the time due to excessive laughter, sometimes because they use tear gas on you)

To let you appreciate this group of fantastic and wonderful being, let me introduce them individually (by alphabetical order, so that nobody can accuse the author for being biased)

Anton - The Eccentric. Most distinct-looking creature. Tend to believe all the female creatures are in love with him. Has a soft spot for white furry dogs. Suspected to own a mirror on the wall which he coerces to say everyday that he is the most handsome of all.

Aris - The Cow maniac. Known to have special fondness for Cows, especially those with equally huge tummy and butt. Owner of the low and sexy voice which drives all the cows crazy. Ever heard of the Mad Cow Disease?

Felie - The Undiscovered Species. Mysterious identity with unknown origin. Known to be submissive and shy with sporadic bursts of uncontrollable laughter. At times produces a high-pitched inhumane sound.

Imme - The Microscopic. At times cannot be seen with the naked eye, especially when standing behind another member. Known to have caused unnatural silence followed by an eruption of laughter. Given permission to jump out of the window.

Like - The Ingenious. Brain capacity above normal. Has a liking for wriggly creatures with tentacles. Known to ingest the poor wriggly creatures. Her presence encourages the Microscopic to jump out of the window.

Sigit - The Goofey. Famous for making silly moves. Turns red without any apparent reason. Known to believe that he can make himself invisible. Very famous for making even more silly moves then.

And so... the six unlikely partners embark on an exciting journey *star wars theme song*... What will their adventures be like? Stay tuned for the next episode of... Teatime Stories...

to be continued...
